1. Who we are

Treo Group (Pty) Ltd (“Treo”, “we”, “us”) is the responsible party for personal information processed through treo.co.za, as contemplated by the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). You can reach us at info@treogroup.co.za.

2. What we collect

• Information you give us — when you submit the contact form (name, work email, message), register interest in a training course (name, email, phone number, company, preferred course date), or book a meeting through Calendly.
• Technical information — standard usage data such as pages visited and browser type, collected through cookies set by our forms and analytics provider, HubSpot.

3. Why we process it

We use your information to respond to enquiries, confirm training registrations and share course details and pricing, deliver our services, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We process it on the basis of your consent (given when you submit a form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We do not sell personal information, and we only send marketing communications where permitted.

4. Who we share it with

Your information is processed on our behalf by a small number of service providers: HubSpot (customer relationship management and forms, hosted in the European Union), Netlify (website hosting), Calendly (meeting scheduling), and Microsoft 365 (email). Each acts as an operator under POPIA and processes information only on our instructions. Some providers store information outside South Africa; where they do, it is protected by safeguards consistent with POPIA.

5. Cookies

The site uses cookies from HubSpot to remember returning visitors and connect form submissions to prior visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

6. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or maintain our business relationship, and thereafter only as required for legal or record-keeping purposes.

7. Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct or delete it, or object to its processing. Contact info@treogroup.co.za to exercise these rights. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
